Theresa Caputo
Theresa Caputo, the Long Island psychic medium who blends all the stereotypes about Long Island with all the stereotypes about psychic mediums, this reality television star has certainly brought something to the psychic community. I respect that she’s not a wilting flower or a space cadet. Most psychics aren’t, and you can’t be a reed in the wind if you intend to do this work and keep sane. But truthfully, her big hair and big nails isn’t actually that weird at all. In fact, psychic women tend to be more glamorous and forthright. Her mystique really dispels the idea that (most) psychics are unapproachable, odd or from another planet.
Caputo right away lets people know that due to the fact that she’s so in demand, does both a television and live shows that there is a very long waiting list to get a reading with her. Otherwise, this is just a promotional website similar to websites of reality television psychics. There is little on her webpage except a link to buy tickets for her shows, a link to her fan club, and more promotional information and links to her photos, videos, and merchandise page (of which there is a lot of stuff. Who buys a Theresa Caputo beanie?). The fan club is where most people want to go. Here, you can meet other fans, buy tickets to her shows before anyone else, get access to exclusive content, and win things from Caputo. This all comes at a reasonable $19.99 a year.

- Theresa Caputo is her own person and doesn’t try to fit an idea of what a psychic should be.
- She’s honest in that she lets you know that you will probably never get a personal reading from her.
- Her fan club offers a lot for a pretty reasonable price.

Theresa Caputo capitalizes on the fact that she’s a stereotypical Long Island woman and happens to be a psychic. This is a schtick that gets old.
