Cherokee Nakoma
Cherokee Nakoma received her first vision during a Ghost Dance in her youth. While the adults danced, she saw her ancestors surrounding them, appearing in multitudes. Her departed grandmother, whom she loved dearly, approached her with a gift of a white feather. Her grandmother, the ancestors, and the feather quickly disappeared, but from then after, Nakoma began having visions. She became an assistant to her aunt, a local medicine woman and native artisan. However, as time went on Nakoma became known in her own right for her ability to sense illness, speak to ancestors, and see the past, distant present, and future.
As a young woman, Nakoma would visit various communities and often appear at PowWows helping those in need. It wasn’t until after she married and had her first daughter that she decided to branch out beyond the Native American community and become a professional psychic and clairvoyant. She learned tarot and opened up shop in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Since then, Nakoma has been helping people using her psychic, clairvoyant, and tarot reading talents. She’s especially good at helping people find direction in their lives and heal from past wounds.
Nakoma’s readings are largely spiritual in nature. While she will directly answer your question, she tends to talk more about the underlying and surrounding issues. If you’re carrying any ancestral guilt or wounds, she’ll let you know and help you find a way to heal both yourself and your ancestors. Since she can see where you’re going and where you’ll end up, even if you don’t directly ask her about something in your future, she may try to guide or deter you nonetheless. Her experience as a healer has taught her that the best medicine is preventative.

Cherokee Nakoma may not be as direct or to the point as some would like. If you just want someone to give you a yes or no answer, then she’s not for you. If you want a comprehensive answer that covers a lot, then she is for you.
