Tarot Goddess
Tarot Goddess has been offering free online tarot readings since 2006. One of them is the free Burning Question reading, in which a visitor can get the answer to a specific question. You can choose between three different tarot decks, including the Rider-Waite deck, the Goddess tarot, and the Lover’s Path tarot. Now, all tarot cards are generally the same, in that they almost always use the same basic symbolic themes, but they do read slightly differently, and thus, can create different readings based on the differences in the cards. For example, the Three of Swords will always be heartbreak and loss, but how and what kind of loss may be different depending on the deck. Of the three offered, the Rider-Waite deck is for general inquiries, the Goddess deck for personal empowerment and creative fulfillment, and the Lover’s Path for relationships and matters of the heart.
You enter your name and your question and then go to a page where seven cards have been chosen for you. Each card is labeled with what it represents in relation to your question. For all three decks, the answers were short and to the point. They weren’t without their spiritual or intellectual considerations. I’m a bigger fan of interpretations that don’t specifically spell out what the querent should do, think, or expect, but rather answers that give them some food for thought. And the nice thing about this free tarot reading is that even though this is obviously an advertising vehicle, the ads aren’t obtrusive or distracting. But is the reading accurate? That is yet to be determined.

Tarot Goddess gives very succinct answers, which can make it difficult for those who don’t study tarot to figure out how the card applies to the question.
