Esp Test
I’m sure what’s scientific about this website. Nor am I sure what is psychic about it, since most of this website is about things not related to psychic ability or even the paranormal. Mostly, this is a vehicle to put ads in your face. I think it’s quite telling that half the page under the Paranormal tab lists just about every possible typo of the word “psychic.”
But I took the ESP test anyway. For ten cards, you can choose one of the five Zener card symbols. If you get more than 20% correct, it is statistically significant. The site is careful not to make any claims that this makes you psychic. I’ve discussed what I hate about these random generated Zener card tests on other reviews, but I’m starting to realize that these must be very easy to generate, otherwise, even websites like this, where everything else is slapdash or borrowed, manage to put together a game like this. It is rather easy make and throw up a game like this. So, whenever you see a test like this on a website, you can probably intuit that the owner is lazy.
Computers don’t “see” cards. There are no cosmic vibrations to pick up from a computer program, because it’s not tangible. Unlike people, animals, plants, and even rocks, a computer program doesn’t create cosmic vibrations that a psychic can pick up. You can pick up other things about the creator or the designer, but not which random assignment of 1s and 0s will become which symbol.

- Hm. I’m going to have to try pretty hard on this. I like that this site did not reach through the screen and punch me in the face.

- This is a blatant advertising vehicle.
- Most of this website has nothing to do with psychic phenomena.
- The test itself could have been lifted from anywhere.
