Jess Steinman
Actually, Jess Steinman has a very pretty website where she advertises her services as a teacher, reader, medium, and healer. Even though she hasn’t updated her blog in two years, she’s still actively teaching classes and doing readings in the Western Massachusetts area. As a tarot card reader, she uses 22 decks (not at all once, though). So don’t let her absence from her blog fool you. Generally speaking, if you have time to blog on a daily basis, that’s a good sign that a psychic isn’t doing a lot of psychic work.
Steinman does readings in person in Northampton, MA as well as on the phone and via Skype. And I really, really admire the fact that she addresses that she’s charging a fair price for her readings. While people seem to be under this spell that makes them think that all psychics should work for free, or next to nothing, the reality is that we have to make a living, that we have to prepare for this work, and that it takes a lot out of us to do this.
Steinman is what I would call the consummate community psychic. These are people who work very much within the geographic location that they live in and generally focus their efforts on serving the people in that area. Likewise, I noticed that she’s involved in the quasi-pyramid scheme doTERRA. A few years ago, my then-girlfriend got involved, filling my living room with oil samples.
